Revive Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Revive iOS application ("Revive," "the app," "we," "us"). By downloading or using Revive you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to your use of the app.

1. What Revive is, and is not

Revive provides daily devotional content: Bible passages from public-domain translations, audio narration of Bible chapters, short written reflections, prayers, and journaling tools. Revive offers spiritual encouragement only. It is not a church, not professional counseling, and not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Content that touches on anxiety, grief, addiction, marriage, or similar subjects is devotional in nature. If you are struggling with your mental health or safety, please contact a qualified professional or, in the United States, call or text 988.

2. Subscriptions

• Revive offers auto-renewing subscriptions: an annual plan and a monthly plan. The current price of each plan, and any free trial, is shown in the app and in the App Store before you purchase. Prices may vary by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
• Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited on purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

3. Your account and your content

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google, keep those credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account, and we may close an account used to abuse the service.

Your journal entries, prayer requests, and answers are stored on your device. If you sign in, they are also stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices, and we use them only to provide that sync, as described in the Privacy Policy. You own what you write. You can delete your account and everything synced to it at any time from Profile. You are responsible for anything you choose to share outside the app (for example, a shared prayer card).

4. Our content

Devotional text, imagery, audio narration, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are for your personal, non-commercial use. Bible text is drawn from public-domain translations such as the King James Version and the World English Bible. You may share content only through the sharing features provided.

5. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the app; do not use shared content to harass anyone or misrepresent its source.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Revive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these Terms; material changes will be shown in the app. We may suspend the service for misuse. You can stop using Revive at any time; deleting the app deletes the on-device data it created, and Delete account in Profile removes anything synced to your account (see the Privacy Policy).
